These indicate there is no data for these items.
We recommend always looking at the spreadsheet report when reviewing analyses. The spreadsheet, and other reports, will put the No Data String where data is incomplete or missing. The default No Data String is two dashes (--) but can be another symbol if changed in My Preferences.
When reviewing your recipes if possible edit any ingredients where you find dashes. This is common with the new U.S. 2016 label format especially for new nutrients (added sugar) or those that changed in the database (such as Vitamin D or Dietary Fiber.)
